Mrs. O'Briens Guide to the Golden Rule

  • Holy family Catholic Church 5125 North Apopka Vineland Road Orlando, FL, 32818 United States (map)

Join us this evening for an event full of fun, fellowship, fundraising and laughter! You really won't want to miss out on Mrs. O'Briens Guide to the Golden Rule.

From the creator and co-author of Late Nite Catechism, comes the interactive comedy, Mrs. O’Brien’s Guide to the Golden Rule! Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the classroom, Mother Superior shows up! The show is a funny refresher course in a modern look at the Golden Rule. Mrs. O’Brien is in charge and she has her own opinions on just about everything, from the shade of your lipstick to the I-Pod in your pocket.

As the producers of the show note:
Our new character, Mrs. O’Brien, is a former nun with an attitude. Once a nun, always a nun in spirit. She left the convent and is now working for the archdiocese as the head of its fundraising department. So many people in our audiences have responded to our new character because they no longer remember the nun in habit. But they do love the religious humor of our shows, with our new character. And...nuns today don’t wear a habit. So our new character fits in perfectly with the idea of what nuns and ex-nuns are doing today: still trying to spread the good word through religious humor.
